First and foremost, we want to protect the people, particularly women, who make the products we sell.  And we knew that in order to do this, we needed to have a better system to evaluate the impact we are having on the individuals and communities in which we operate.

As part of this journey we have invested in deeper relationships with our manufacturers. We perform a rigorous and exhaustive audit to carefully understand their employment practices, and then work with the factory to correct any weaknesses, even funding capacity building and increased wages.
